I have been working at
Camp Carmangay for several years, and each time I meet with, or take out
a youth group, I am amazed at how much fun they have.
Camp Carmangay is a
place where youth at risk can interact with their peers and adults in a
positive and meaningful way.
Western horsemanship,
as taught by expert instructors, is a key element of Camp Carmangay.
Nature hikes, canoeing, volleyball, horseback riding and games are just
a small part of the activities.
Many groups come to
Camp Carmangay and conduct their own activities to add on to programs
already here. This is a warm and welcoming place where youth can
spend a day, or a week and develop and grow to the best of their
ability.
